CHUCKLE’S COVE CAMP SITE – OUTDOOR AFRICA!

Africa – here we come!! There is no better way to get really close to the African outdoors, than by pitching a tent or setting up a caravan in the heart of this raw beauty.

The smell of the bush and dams nearby, the sound of the lions roaring, the morning sunlight as it casts its yellow glow over the trees, and then the spectacular sunsets – it cannot get better. Here one comes to enjoy the serenity of the outdoors without the hustle and bustle of city life. There is no electricity, but there are solar lights at the toilets and showers close by.

CAMPING & CARAVANNING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS

There are 3 private “wild” camp sites marked site 1, 2, and 3. Each site has 4 demarcated areas, for example: site 1A, 1B, 1C or 1D. Each site may accommodate a maximum of 8 persons.

This is a camp site where visitors must bring all own camping tents and equipment. All three private camp sites share the same ablutions and camper kitchen to wash dishes. Fires may only be made inside braai stands, on a gas stove or similar appliance. All refuse must be removed upon leaving the camp site.

FACILITIES:

  • This is a stunning bush location; the camping area is only 500 meters away from the main lodge.
  • Site 1 is located near the ablutions for those who like to be close to the toilets and showers.
  • Site 2 faces the Serengeti planes of Horseback Africa where many animals gather together.
  • Site 3 is close to the horse camps.

Campers can erect their own tents or park their caravans or campervans to enjoy the “out of doors” to the fullest!!
